Happening this month at Oakwood Arts

Our spring programs are in full swing here at Oakwood Arts! We have been running an Introduction to Animation program at Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club and are excited to have just begun a similar program with Anna Julia Cooper Episcopal School this March. Story Hour is being held monthly at our partner organization sites, where a guest reader from the community is invited to share a book with elementary aged students, followed by a related engaging art activity. East End Quilt Collective will be hosted a post clean-up reflection March 9th at East End Cemetery. We are running the second session of our City Studio Spring Break Camp. This year’s group will focus on learning about production design in film, theatre, and animation. Students will be meeting with professionals in the field and taking behind the scenes field trips. We’ve also got a few more events in the works for the season—sign up for our newsletter for updates!
